A New Home For Us

Well, folks, today marks a monumental day in the life of McGrath Floor & Design! After months of planning, packing, and preparing, we’ve officially relocated to our brand-new showroom at 1010 Perrone Way, Suite 110, Franklin, Tennessee. I’ve got to tell you, there’s something incredibly special about seeing all those pieces of flooring, those planks and tiles that tell the story of our work, make their way into our new home.

It all started with my trusty 1999 Ford F-150—old faithful, as I like to call her. She’s been with me through thick and thin, from the days of working out of a garage to now, delivering the very first load of samples to our new showroom. I’m talking about the classics like Perla Gris and Onyx Oak Hardwood—materials that have graced some of the finest homes in Nashville and beyond. These are the floors that have been the backdrop to countless family memories, and now they’re here, ready to find a new place in the hearts and homes of our customers.

My lovely wife, Sherry, and our amazing associate, Julie, have been working tirelessly to pack up our temporary showroom and make this transition as smooth as possible. If you’ve ever moved a business, you know it’s no small feat—especially when you’re moving the lifeblood of what you do. We’re not just talking about boxes and furniture here; we’re talking about the samples and displays that showcase the quality and craftsmanship that McGrath Floor & Design is known for.

Now, stepping into our new showroom, I can’t help but feel a swell of pride. The space is bright, open, and just waiting to be filled with the creativity and passion we pour into every project. There’s something about that first step into an empty showroom—an anticipation, a promise of what’s to come. It’s like a blank canvas, and we’re ready to paint it with the finest hardwoods and designs that Tennessee has ever seen.

The floors have been laid, the lights are up, and while there’s still a bit of work to do (our new sign is on its way!), we’re thrilled to invite you to come and see what we’ve been working on.
